I am a researcher with a background in Natural Language Processing. During the past 10 years I’ve been working on corpus analysis, grammars (parsing), multi-word expressions, machine translation, and natural language understanding. Since 2015 I have been actively exploring the field of conversational AI and developed a number of ChatBots. I am also interested in applying (NLP) technologies for educational and social purposes. For more about this, see my Projects.
I am currently working as a research technician in the Cognitive Neurorobotics Research Unit at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan, where I support other researchers in a variety of fields such as Robotics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Simulations, and Human-Computer Interaction.
